Weekend Wrap-Up: Longhorns Long Waited Win, Elliot Destroys Lions Defense and Rangers Final Game

There was so many games to see in this exciting sports weekend in Texas. It begin with the Longhorns (4-1) stepping into the Wildcats (2-3) house to end the curse. Then the Dallas Cowboys (2-2) pride struck when facing the Detroit lions (1-3) and in the MLB the Texas Rangers (67-95) last game of the season did not went so well against the Mariners (89-73). And with this, away we go:

It’s Finally Broken!!!
With a head advantage of 19-0 by the end of the first half the Texas Longhorns (4-1) where defeating Kansas state (2-3). Then the Longhorns slow down causing the wildcats score 14 points on the second half, but the best play in the game came from D’shawn Jamison who scored a 90 yard punt return touchdown. All Negativity Out
It was in the fourth quarter where the Dallas Cowboys (2-2) were being catch up by the Detroit Lions (1-3) in a score of 24-23. Later in the game Brett’s Maher 38 yard kick gave the win to the Cowboys, but the best player in the game was Ezekiel Elliot who had 152 yards on the ground and a 38 yard screen pass touchdown. A Disaster of Season
The season came to an end for the Texas Rangers (67-95) going face to face with the Seattle Mariners (89-73), which ended in a losing score for them of 3-1. With the only point scored by the Rangers coming from a home run, it made the fourth biggest gap from the top team in league in the history of the team. Evan Grant from the SportsDay.com has more.
