Weekend Wrap-Up: Rainy Victory for Oscar Pareja, Longhorns are no Joke and Dallas faces Houston

It was an intriguing weekend for all of the Texas sports fans. FC Dallas pursuit to end at the top of the western conference could become reality now. The Longhorns (5-1) give their first loss of the season to the Sooners (5-1) and the Cowboys (2-3) take a clash of brother’s teams of state battle against the Texans (2-3). And with this Sporting news, we go:

Bigger the Gap the Better

On a rainy day, FC Dallas (16, 9, 6) face Orlando City (7, 4, 19) with a score of 2-0. Where the game got suspended for 30 minutes, but Oscar Pareja coach of FC Dallas was able to keep the mental state of winning to the players till the end. After a 21 point lead in the third quarter the Texas Longhorns (5-1) where being turn down by the Oklahoma Sooners (5-1), but the final score was 48-45 giving the win to people in orange. Also, giving the Sooners their first loss of the season with a winning kick of Cameron Dicker. Westcott Eberts from Burn to Orange Nation has more.

It was an exciting game in NRG stadium with the two Texas Giants facing each other, who are the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) and the Houston Texans (2-3). There was a change of lead more than two times in the game with the teams going with everything into the offense, but their defenses were doing a great job and the game needed to go into over-time where the Texans ended up winning with a kick for three points for a score of 19-13.
