LSU vs Arkansas Women’s Soccer Kick It to the Last Minute

Dallas, Texas– In a night on Razorback Field Tori Cannata from the Razorbacks now has 6 goals and 13 points in the season after she scored two goals against the Tigers and gave the team a win for a final scored of 2-1.

Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2-2, 4-1-0 SEC) are still undefeated at home and have won their fourth straight conference win.

The LSU Tigers (7-5-1, 1-3-1 SEC) lost their first game in the season and in the southeastern conference.

To open up the game there was LSU forward Alex Thomas who scored her second goal of the season in a penalty kick at the 43th minute.

Then four minutes after the second half break in the 49th minute Cannata scored her first goal of the game.

At the 104th minute Cannata scored her second goal of the game at just one minute before the first over time finished.

Arkansas had three more corner kicks in the game than LSU and that played to their advantaged because in one of the goals Cannata scored came from the Tigers not being able to clear the ball in a corner kick.

Finally, Arkansas had six more shots opportunities than LSU and Taylor Beitz goalkeeper for the Razorbacks ended up with six saves in the game more than Caroline Brockmeie who had five.
